Chapter and verse: Look through a stranger's lens Tonya Ramer Wenger The Kansas prairies truly are stunning! On a recent drive from Hutchinson to Goessel, I noticed many delightful things: hawks soaring, a cow licking her calf, a murmuration of starlings, the varied hues of January brown, and a car parked on the opposite side of the road. Yes, that ordinary car belongs on my list of delights! Here’s what I saw as I glanced in it: a man with binoculars looking up into the sky. Another quick glance in the direction of his binoculars revealed a sight I would have otherwise missed.
