Elgin hires firm to come up with ways to fix Route 20 bottleneck when lanes merge west of Randall Road

Elgin officials are hoping a study of Route 20 traffic will offer up some solutions to reducing or eliminating the logjams caused by vehicles merging to one lane just west of Randall Road, especially during rush hours.
