NCPA and Silicon Valley Power Execute 12-year Agreement with The Geysers Power Company, LLC for Renewable Geothermal Energy Supplied from the Geysers – The Bloom
The Northern California Power Agency (NCPA) is pleased to announce that it has signed a set of long-term Purchase Agreements with the Geysers Power Company, LLC, an indirect subsidiary of Calpine Corporation, to supply renewable geothermal energy and capacity to the City of Santa Clara’s public power utility Silicon Valley Power (SVP), and potentially other NCPA members, for the period of 2025-2036.
