The anti-graft group Rasuah Busters’ leader and Karangkraf Media Group chairman said the movement to fight corruption must start early to reform the country’s value and moral system and to stop the “chain of corruption”. “The vaccine (to cure corruption) is moral values and each of us has our own moral values. The best people to inject those values are our mothers, fathers and teachers.
SHAH ALAM: A group of graft fighters unveiled their core team comprising prominent figures of multiracial background, aimed at breaking the “corruption chain” in the country. Calling themselves Rasuah Busters, Karangkraf Media Group chairman Datuk Hussamuddin Yaacub said the core team comprising 13 figures, will act as strategists and planners to chart programmes based on their respective expertise and capabilities. "They are from different races, religions and backgrounds who will sit together and brainstorm to create initiatives for Rasuah Busters," he told reporters at Karangkraf group headquarters here Monday (April 5). They are moderation advocate Anas Zubedy, adjunct professor Harmandar Singh, lawyer and former politician Jonson Chong, and Sinar Harian's editor-in-chief Rozaid Abdul Rahman, among others.
