They would walk away. And i know when one of the reasons and i did my homework and you remember for two years, i worked in joint development doing feasibility studies in the land use and so i worked with joint development. I worked with planning and i found out that the 25 that the mission had put in place, not one project was built. So when were looking at that, thats where thats the one amendment im a little worried about, right . , is having that actually could kill a project, if we put it too high. As far as community process, i absolutely agree with you. We should have that community process, community should be involved. As a neighborhood activist, legislative aid and supervisor, i have seen so many of the Development Projects come through that are so much better when the community is involved. But i dont want to put a situation where the community could just kill project after project. I feel

Model. Let it was figure out what the state can do to help, not hurt. Thank you. Next speaker. Good afternoon, supervisors. George wooding, coalition for San Francisco neighborhoods. I support Affordable Housing, and i also am in very much agreement with the board and supervisor mars resolution. I object to the false choice that scott weiner presented the board of supervisors saying if you are not for sb50 you must be antigrowth. I think that was a terrible position to put you in because i know that you are doing the best for the city. As peter just stated, i dont think one size fits all, and definitely the amendments have to take care of different aspects of the city and the character of San Francisco. I think sb 50 billions the market rate housing much more so when you look at arena than it ever did build

Legislation. As you all know, we have the first educator Housing Project in our district. So were really excited by the results of prop e the overwhelming support to streamline both educator housing and 100 Affordable Housing. In the past year, weve been working really closely with mid penn, the Affordable Housing developer, and really closely with the community. Weve really seen a cultural shift and really support for this kind of housing thats just gotten so urgent. We are also, you know been following the lead of educators and trust in the educators that they know what kind of housing is needed. So weve been in close communications with uasf particularly on this project. We really support this legislation. We want to ensure that this Francis Scott key pro ....

I actually couldnt pick sue diamond out from the audience. Ive been working on Community Planning and Development Issues for the last 15 years and shes been at the forefront for forwarding one of the complex development projects, the jewish home for the agents, a Market Rate Development project that does provide sorely needed assisted living facilities. So why is it that we havent met her . I think thats an important theme today. Arguably the most important theme impacting the city and the Planning Commission is issues of equity. Ms. Diamond has no clear track record bouncing these multiple goals. They havent had one around equity and stabilizing vulnerable communities and developing authentic dialog with those most impacted by development deci ....
