The announcement this week that the Sizzler restaurant is reopening is certainly good news for weary restaurant patrons, even if it is just for takeout and delivery initially. The restaurant, located at 1156 NW Garden Valley Blvd., closed in August but recently was bought by the Sizzler corporation, Sizzler USA. Before that, it was a franchise owned by Double S Foods in Springfield, which owned eight Sizzlers in Oregon.
