Nekoosa volleyball helping spike out cancer
For the City Times WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Nekoosa High School varsity volleyball team is once again helping local cancer patients through its annual Pink Night fundraiser. “Our fundraiser was paused for a year due to COVID-19, but the team was determined to bring it back,” said Coach Ray Gutowski. “Cancer touches so many of us within our own volleyball family, friends, and neighbors; and this is our chance to help make a difference.” Those attending the team’s Pink Night game had the opportunity to purchase pink ribbons to sign and hang on the gym wall.
