Galax schools to evaluate re-opening in January
In a special meeting on Tuesday night, the Galax School Board voted unanimously to wait on beginning in-person classes again, but will let student athletes take part in the winter season as long as CDC and state guidelines are followed. Galax schools will remain virtual until at least Jan. 15, and COVID-19 case numbers will be reviewed at the regular Jan. 12 board meeting before making any further decisions.
