TGI Fridays has permanently closed dozens of restaurants across 12 states, the restaurant chain announced this week. Local media reports indicate that New Jersey was most affected with seven locations closed, six in Massachusetts shuttered and five in New York also gone. Some locations in California, Colorado, Florida, Texas and Pennsylvania were also reportedly closed.
On Tuesday TGI Fridays announced that it was shuttering over 35 locations and transferring ownership of eight restaurants located in the northeast.
Some fans of the restaurant chain were likely surprised this week when they found their local outlet permanently closed after TGI Fridays shut down dozens of locations around the US.
New on the scene is a third location of Tikka and Grill, Lucy Coffee and Riot House on Market Street in downtown Denver.
