Melody Fuhr WILMINGTON — Melody Fuhr, 73, peacefully passed Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCare Center with her family by her side. She was born Aug. 3, 1947, in Wilmington to the late Elmer Ray Thomas and Kathryn Killette Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Fuhr; and brother, Ray Thomas. Melody is survived by her daughter, Angela; son, George Rongotes Jr., and his wife, Janet; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and niece, Terry Beavers.
