World Turtle Day microchipping event We’re partnering with the San Diego Turtle & Tortoise Society for a special microchipping event on World Turtle Day, May 23, 2021. We will be microchipping turtles and tortoises in the care of T&T Society, while promoting adoptions and sharing important educational messages around turtles and tortoises as pets. We receive an average of 64 stray turtles and tortoises each year! A microchip with current information will improve the chance of returning the reptile to his or her home.
