CONTINUING their form from last season, unbeaten Haltwhistle Jubilee are on target for back-to-back promotions.
The Jubilee currently sit second in Division One, six points adrift of leaders Prudhoe YC Seniors, but have four games in hand on their rivals.
Ten games into their campaign, they remain unbeaten having won nine and drawn one of their games so far and also have the highest goal difference in the division following a string of impressive results.
This is no doubt down due to two of the league’s three highest goal scorers,with youngster Aaron Hardy leading the way with 12 goals so far. ....

Haltwhistle, Prudhoe and Cramlington maintain winning run


THERE is no let up at the top of Division One with the top three all winning their latest fixtures.
Leaders Prudhoe YC Seniors, second placed Haltwhistle Jubilee and third placed Cramlington United all picked up maximum points with comfortable victories at the weekend.
Haltwhistle made the trip to Wallsend Boys Club and were in trouble as they fell behind after just three minutes.
There was no panic from the Jubes, though, and there were on level terms when Jack Barker levelled the scores two minutes later.
The equaliser provided a platform for Halty to build on and two goals in quick succession saw them lead 3-1 after 12 minutes, Aaron Hardy and James Charteries finding the back of the net. ....
