A DAD was forced to fight off a pair of thieves who tried to steal his family’s young puppy outside their home. Brooke Moore’s partner rushed outside to wrestle the young Red Staffordshire Bull Terrier off the men after they walked into their front garden to steal the dog. The couple were alerted after seeing the thieves peering through the home’s windows. She said the dogs are now watched much closer. The mum, 21, of Minster road in Laindon said: “We let our dogs out the front, we have a gate and it is usually secure. “My partner noticed people looking through our window which was obviously suspicious enough to alert us something was going on. ....
