Woodlands off Bracken Road in North Baddesley burst into flames at around 7.30pm last night. The large fire which affected a one hundred metre square area was brought under control using three jets and the help of an off-road vehicle. Firefighters were called to a blaze off Bracken Road, North Baddesley Crews from St Mary s, Eastleigh and Redbridge Fire Stations attended with the stop message coming in shortly after 9pm. According to Hampshire Fire Service, police did not attend, and the blaze spread due to very dry conditions. A post on the St Mary s Fire Station Twitter page said: Last night 54L1 was called to a small fire in the open in North Baddesley.
