What is the status of the Redding Area Bus Authority s proposed bus service, with an electric bus, to the Sacramento airport? My wife and I attended the 2019 Energy Fair in Redding that April and a representative from RABA with an electric bus on display was promoting the route.

A: It’s been awhile since plans for the Salmon Runner a Redding-to-Sacramento service on electric buses equipped with comfy seats, wireless internet access and a restroom   were unveiled in 2018. After some setbacks, the North State commuter s dream come true is estimated to start in September or October. The actual operator of the proposed service is the Shasta Regional Transportation Agency, by the way. ....
