REFUGIO COUNTY, Texas – According to a news release, Refugio County sheriff’s deputies seized 44.1 pounds of cocaine from a commercial vehicle during a traffic stop Tuesday, July 20. Deputies stopped the vehicle on U.S. Highway 77. The driver was arrested and placed in Refugio County Jail on suspicion of manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty grade 1.
