The Go Virginia board recently approved two business-related initiatives.
MOVA Technologies Inc. has opened a research and development facility in Pulaski that will allow for enhanced design and production of its state-of-the-art air pollutant capture technology. “The facility will accelerate the pace of introducing new panel bed filtration technology innovations, while simultaneously increasing the commercial success rate of new applications in a market worth tens of billions of dollars,” said Steve Critchfield, MOVA president and founder.
Newly established businesses based on health or science in western and central Virginia can apply now to enter the Regional Accelerator & Mentoring Program called RAMP this fall.
Innovative entrepreneurs and small businesses from rural Benton and Linn counties will present business concepts and deliver product demonstrations at a special event set for Thursday, June 8 in Lebanon.
