Yas Plaza Hotels has brought in a new cluster executive chef to head up culinary operations for two of its hotels. Oscar Cardenas Diaz now spearheads the restaurants at Crowne Plaza Yas Island and Staybridge Suites Yas Island.
Originally from the Netherlands, Hans Heijligers spent 35 years of his hotel career abroad. He mainly settled in Asia where he led the entire Western region of Japan while serving as Managing Director at InterContinental Osaka for 3 years.
Rejin Thomas has been promoted to cluster DOSM for InterContinental Muscat and Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC. In his new role, Thomas will lead marketing and sales strategies for both hotels, looking to boost their revenues and increase market share.
