San Francisco, Dec 13 (IANS) Leading automaker Toyota will charge drivers $8 a month or $80 annually for using their key fobs to remotely start its cars.
Toyota's Connected Services package includes Remote Connect, which supports smartphone-based remote starts. However, Toyota will now charge $8 per month to remotely start newer cars with a key fob, too.
