Mom’s Meals, a leading, national provider of home-delivered meals, announces today results of a study published by
Hemodialysis International evaluating the impact of home-delivered meals to help support reduction in dietary sodium and meet health goals among hemodialysis (HD) patients. The study results show that kidney-friendly, home-delivered meals are an effective approach to improving volume control and blood pressure of these patients.
The study monitored 20 qualifying HD patients who followed a usual (control) diet for the first four weeks followed by four weeks of three low-sodium, home-delivered meals per day (provided by Mom’s Meals).
