Coordinator fuentes says at its height the Redwood Food Bank Summer Food Program served 150,000 meals. This summer theyre on track to only serve about 30,000. Weve seen definitely a decrease in participation. It was great to have that option, that kids or families could pick up those meals for their kids, whereas now were kind of hindering that.
