ENFIELD — The Town Council on Monday night appointed Democrat Robert “Bob” Cressotti to join its ranks, filling an at-large seat left vacant by the departure of Bill Kiner. While Republican Councilwoman Kelly Hemmeler abstained from the vote, the rest of the council of seven Republicans and two Democrats approved Cressotti’s appointment during the meeting, which was held via videoconference.
