ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister s Special Representative on Inter-religious Harmony Molana Tahir Ashrafi says resolving issues of overseas Pakistanis is top priority of government.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today (Monday), he said during his upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister will hold consultations with Saudi leadership.
Molana Tahir Ashrafi said the Prime Minister will also interact with the Pakistani community living in the Kingdom and will raise their problems with the Saudi authorities. ....

Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) General Secretary Allama Raja Nasir Abbas on Wednesday termed the alleged enforced disappearances of members of the Shia community a serious violation of human rights, and asked the government and state institutions to resolve the issue.
He expressed these views during a telephonic address to the participants of the sit-in of the Shia community who have been protesting in front of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s mausoleum since April 2 for the recovery of their missing family members.
The protest camp was organised by the Joint Action Committee for Shia Missing Persons. Abbas said the participants of the sit-in are demanding the rule of law based on the supremacy of the constitution, so the government should listen to their demand. ....

The International Chamber of Commerce Qatar (ICC Qatar) and Crowell & Moring held an interactive program on Tuesday on the growing commitment of Qatar and its institutions to mediation and other ADR methods as a means of resolving international disputes.
Titled ‘Qatar’s Role in International Mediation & ADR’, the webinar discussed mediation and other ADR options and polled attendees for their awareness and views regarding the current and future use of ADR in Qatar. Tarek Saad, senior counsel at Crowell & Moring and head of its disputes practice in Doha, led the discussion. Saad also serves as ICC Qatar’s representative to the Paris-based ICC’s Task Force on ADR and Arbitration, which is studying ADR trends all over the world for the development of recommendations for member countries like Qatar. ....
