Faith notes for May 1 The Hutchinson News South Hutchinson United Methodist Church will be operating the Fair Priced Store at 15 W. Avenue B, during May. The store is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, as well as 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. If you have gently used clothing, bedding or towels that you would like to donate, please drop them off at the store. New underwear can also be donated. This store assists many in our community who need these items, You can watch our Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. on our Facebook page. Faith notes for April 10 The Hutchinson News Interim Pastor John Chastain will bring a message, “Abiding in Christ”, based on John 15:1-14, this Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Sherman, at the 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. services. Keith Neill’s message at the 9 a.m. worship service (W@9) will be “The Source”, also based on John 15:1-14. We are following the guidelines laid out by the state and local authorities for proper disinfecting and ask everyone to practice social distancing. Face masks are encouraged and provided if needed. Come, experience God’s amazing love, and know that there is a place for you at FPC. The 10:30 service will also be live on KHUT 102.9 FM, and check the website, www.fpchutch.org, for the W@9 sermon. The deacons will prepare and serve a meal at the Christian Soup Kitchen on Thursday. ....
Faith notes for Feb. 20 The Hutchinson News Medora Community Bible Church, 8311 Medora Rd, will be having special services March 7-10 with Evangelist Dr. John Goetsch with West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California. Dr. John Goetsch has been in full-time evangelism since 1974. In 1996, he became the Executive Vice President of West Coast Baptist College where he is involved in training young people for full-time ministry. He has authored several books and is also a highly regarded speaker at Christian camps in the United States. Services will be at 9, 10:15 a.m., and 6 p.m. on March 7, and at 7 p.m. on March 8, 9, and 10. ....

Sherman, this fourth Sunday of Advent when Keith Neill brings a message from Isaiah 35:10 and John 15;11, “The True Joy of Christmas”, at the 8:15 and 10:30 a.m. services, or during the 9 a.m. service (W@9) when Keith’s message will be “Christmas Joy” based on the same Scriptures. The Christmas Joy Offering will be received in all services.
