NEWS PRESENTER Huw Edwards was among many people to pay tribute to one of the best Welsh preachers of modern times who died recently. Reverend WI Cynwil Williams passed away at the Dolanog care home in Rhyl on May 1, aged 84. Before becoming minister of Capel y Crwys, Cardiff, Revd. Williams was minister of Capel Mawr in Denbigh for many years. During his time there he served as minister to Dr Kate Roberts, and later wrote extensively about her and her work. Revd. Williams was also a highly-respected author and wrote the biography of the former Archbishop of Wales, the Rev. Dr Rowan Williams.
