During this initial surge, the city approved seven large-scale solar projects, along with one medium-scale project, before the moratorium was put in place in October of 2021.
The 6,370 solar panels at the site at 69 Mariaville Road, in combination with the 5,408 panels at the second site up the road, will generate 4.8 megawatts of electricity.
