ATTICA, Ohio - As the 2020 racing season - impacted by COVID-19 - starts to wind down, tracks have worked tirelessly to schedule races.
Attica Raceway Park’s 33rd anniversary season kicks off Friday, March 19 with 25 events scheduled carrying over $700,000 in feature money on the line. The track recently announced the addition of seats to extend the top rows for fans.
The Fremont Speedway Hall of Fame, located in the Sandusky County Fairgrounds, inducted 10 individuals Saturday, June 25, including Elmore mechanic Mike Witty The following are now enshrined in the hall of fame, including mechanics Witty and Bob Hampshire.
With a forecast of sunny skies and temperatures in the 50s, Attica Raceway Park will kick off the 2021 racing season Saturday, March 20 on Construction Equipment and Supply Night. Gates will open Saturday at 12:30 p.m. with pill draw closing at 2:15 p.m. followed by hot laps at 2:30 p.m.
