On the brink : Rhode Island s small businesses fight for survival For Chris Parisi, small-business survival over the last year has boiled down to three words: Adapt or die. Parisi, who runs Providence-based Trailblaze Marketing and is the co-founder of the RI Small Business Coalition, which was created as an advocacy effort amid the pandemic, said that for owners, the crisis either put them out of business or put them on the brink of out of business.
