CLEARWATER — The union representing nearly 900 city of Clearwater employees has been dissolved after it failed to meet the registration requirements of a controversial new state law.
The action under a new state law voids a new contract, but city leaders say they’ll do right by employees.
DeSantis signed HB 49 on Friday, which allows businesses to work minors older than 16-years-old more than 30 hours a week if the employer gets parental permission.
