Once past the city’s convulsing traffic across the Golden Gate Bridge we glided along Highway 101 and threaded west to the mouth of the Russian River, portal into the Mendonoma Coast’s bubble of serenity. We basked in Jenner’s bucolic open space while enjoying mid-afternoon snacks at my favorite riverside table.
