Second place in the boys 3,200-meter run wasn’t so bad for New Bloomfield’s Nathan Hinrichs. It helped the state champion beat him with a meet-record time. Hinrichs clocked a runner-up time of 9:46.59 on Friday in the 3,200 at the Class 2 track and field state championships at Adkins Stadium.
