Fire damaged two buildings in a commercial center in Pauma Valley Saturday, but firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading to adjacent buildings.
The fire was reported at 6:40 a.m. Saturday in the Pauma Valley Trading Center at 16220 CA-76, which contains a grocery store and El Rey restaurant, according to Cal Fire San Diego.
One planned burn is in the Cuba Ranger District and the other is in the Coyote Ranger District.

Outlaw Fire burns 30 acres A wildfire burning 10 miles outside of Capitan, New Mexico reportedly consumed about 30 acres of wildland. The fire, dubbed the Outlaw Fire, was detected June 14 near White Oaks and 10 miles northwest of Capitan around 9 p.m. inside the Lincoln National Forest.
