PERSPECTIVE: Hearings focus on farm land, initiative petitions, suicides
Committee hearings are where most of the action is occurring right now in the House of Representatives. On Tuesday evening, a general laws hearing was very popular. This hearing began at 4:30 p.m. and did not adjourn until 1:45 a.m. The agriculture policy committee I serve on attracted a great deal of attention this week as we heard four similar bills which want to limit or eliminate foreign ownership of land in Missouri.
