Ritter Public Library in Vermilion to close temporary
Ritter Public Library, 5680 Liberty Ave. in Vermilion, has announced it will undergo a temporary closure from Dec. 21 to Jan. 2. Library director Joy Walk said that trustees made the decision based on Gov. Mike DeWine's Stay Safe Ohio Protocol, enacted Dec. 10. "The board has always prioritized the safety of the community, and we're staying consistent with that," she said. - Advertisement - The library's book drop will be closed, but due dates for library materials will be extended into mid-January, according to a news release.
