A WATERFRONT pub could be sporting a new retractable canopy should plans be approved. The Jolly Sailor in on Lands End Road in Bursledon has applied for planning permission to allow them to replace an existing canvas canopy structure on the jetty with an updated and modernised retractable canopy for their outdoor seating and dining area. ACTION has been taken to tackle escalating anti-social behaviour in two Hampshire villages. ‘Operation Aquatic’ has been launched in Netley and Hamble to make sure there is a more visible police presence in the area.
