Flood alerts for Ludlow, Tembury, Cleobury Mortimer and Church Stretton
FLOOD alerts have been issued for the Tenbury and Ludlow areas. At present there is not an immediate risk to homes and businesses but the level of rivers and streams are rising because of rainfall and melting snow. River levels have risen at the Newnham Bridge river gauge. This is causing flooding of roads and farmland. The Environment Agency expects flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the Ledyche Brook and River Rea.
