NEPHI — A Sandy couple was charged Wednesday with leading officers on a high speed chase, all while an 8-month-old child and a lot of methamphetamine were in the vehicle. Artemio Rivera Luna, 34, and Alexandrea Mykall Lovato, 31, are each charged in 4th District Court with drug possession with intent to distribute, a first-degree felony; failing to stop for police and child endangerment, third-degree felonies; plus marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, class B misdemeanors.
