Over an acre of land falls on Fleener Creek Beach
Early Saturday, a massive landslide collapsed onto a beach west of Ferndale. The fall above Fleener Creek Beach halts public access to the recreation area and highlights the precarious nature of the road used by residents in an area known for being one of the fastest eroding bluffs in California.
