As road construction season ramps up, the Missouri Department of Transportation has announced or is reminding motorists about several road closures that will impact travel on Kansas City area highways and interstates.
Interstate 49 will be closed in both directions this weekend in Grandview. The Missouri Department of Transportation announced Thursday that it will close the northbound and southbound lanes of I-49 at Main Street in Grandview so that crews can demolish the southbound I-49 turnaround ramp.
