NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock has announced a new espionage techno-thriller series, to be led by Simu Liu and executive produced by filmmaker James Wan. About the show: The still-untitled spy thriller was one of the four shows revealed during the platform’s presentation for the Television Critics Association on Feb.13. In the series, Liu plays the role of Alexander Hale, a “first-generation-American intelligence analyst” who discovers his brain has been hacked.
