Cwmamman town council has set its precept for the financial year 2021/22 CWMAMMAN town council’s 14 per cent tax rise has come under fire from Labour councillors after members were asked to vote on the budget and precept for the upcoming year. An increase of 14.4 per cent proposed by Cllr David Jenkins was approved last Wednesday, January 27, taking the average Band D bill up by £27 a year, or 52p a week.
