COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio school districts could once again arm employees under legislation being fast-tracked by Republican lawmakers to counter the impact of a court ruling that restricted the practice.
The bill that sets minimum training requirements for teachers, other personnel and volunteers who want to carry weapons in school buildings is likely to be on the Senate floor on Wednesday.
