@Mommatum. Thank you for your income and sound reasoning. I’m not a land-lord but if I was...I’d scramble to get a tenant with this responsible attitude. Legislation from Govt regarding housing has been skewed too far left and most reasonable people are starting to see this for what it is. Govt exploitation of both Land-lords and Renters.

Don’t get on the list. Having said that, if you do, it should be possible to get off it.
(This might require independent regulation of the list, as Jed suggested.) And, despite the Real Estate agent’s considering that a good tenant is one who pays the rent (there’s more to a good tenant than that), you can’t expect Landlords to provide properties when people destroy them. Of course they will use every means they can (and their agents will too) to identify risky tenants. There are good and bad landlords and tenants. Until housing supply even starts to meet demand, it is going to be hard on everyone. Don’t get on the list. Communicate with your Landlord if you have difficulty, as Mommatum said.

Paul Gallen dismissed Sonny Bill Williams as “yesterday’s hero” after preserving his unbeaten boxing record with a courageous, against-the-odds points decision over MMA legend Mark Hunt.
Over wanting a showdown with Williams after defying his underdog status in an epic encounter, Gallen set his sights on UFC middleweight superstar Rob Whitaker after improving his record to 10 wins and one draw from 11 professional bouts.

Sydney Super Fight: Paul Gallen labels Sonny Bill Williams 'yesterday's hero' and targets Rob Whittaker after beating Mark Hunt

The former Sharks skipper buckled after taking a series of heavy blows, including a huge right hand in the second round. However, Gallen remained on his feet and recovered to land the majority of punches in an epic six-round encounter that lived up to the hype.
After getting the nod from the judges, the premiership-winning forward called out another combat sports legend, fellow Australian Whittaker, as his next opponent.
"I saw Whittaker's interview about [me] a year ago,” Gallen said.
“I don't know if it was a podcast, I can't remember what it was – but someone asked if he'd fight me and he said: ‘Yeah, I'd fight him but he wouldn't fight me' and he laughed, like in a way that annoyed me.
