Man Sentenced To Life For 2019 Ormond Beach Armed Robbery
Apr 22, 2021 2:31 PM Daytona Beach, FL – A man who went into the 7-11 on Nova Road in Ormond Beach, armed with a handgun in February 2019, is going to be spending the rest of his life in prison. Thirty-year-old Darryl Duffy was convicted on charges of armed robbery and fleeing/eluding three weeks ago following a jury trial. He’s also sentenced to 15 years in prison consecutively on the fleeing and eluding charges. Duffy’s co-defendant, 30-year-old Jamier Scott, pled guilty and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
