Battlefield announces schedule of summer interpretative programs, classes Beavers, spiders, bees and bears are among the topics that will be discussed during family story times this summer at the River Raisin National Battlefield Park in Monroe. The interpretative program also includes walking tours of the battlefield grounds that will be held at noon and 3 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays at the battlefield park’s new education center located at 333 N. Dixie Hwy. Tours also will be held at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Programming for the weekend also includes Family Story Time and Craft Making classes, said Jami Keegan, chief of interpretation, education and volunteers at the park. ....
