Additionally, the criminal complaint includes several sentencing enhancements such as use of a firearm to cause great bodily injury and a second strike allegation under the state’s Three Strikes Sentencing Law. His first strike involved a robbery charge with a conviction from 2005. He has had a number of criminal cases since then, including one from 2019 in which he pleaded no contest to assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury, but apparently missed his sentencing date. ....
