Taunton fireworks: Hopewell Park neighbors want summer festival moved
TAUNTON — Dozens of Hopewell Park neighbors want the city’s End of Summer fireworks moved from their neighborhood — or canceled. Leading the effort is Alex Kendzieski of Hopewell Street. For years, he’s warned that firework debris could spark blazes and the noise panics pets, wildlife and residents with medical conditions.
