Kennebec County Official Charged With Sexual Assault According to the KJ, 58 year old James Saucier, of Belgrade, was arrested on Thursday by Augusta police. He has been charged with three counts Gross Sexual Assault Class B.  The charges, which carry a penalty of up to 10 years in prison, stem from the alleged assault of a 45 year old woman last spring.  The alleged sexual assaults were investigated by members of the  Augusta Police Department and the Kennebec County District Attorney’s Office.
