Bam names subcontractors on £250m Manchester arena Bam Construct has named its subcontractors on the new £250m Co-op Live arena in Manchester. It announced that around £150m of contracts have been handed to subcontractors with M&E works set to be carried out by Wates-owned SES Engineering Services. The steelwork, for which 9,000 tons of the material will be used, is to be handled by Severfield. Dan Whelan The contractor signed a £253m deal to build Oak View Group’s events venue last week, its second major Eastlands scheme having completed Manchester City’s £115m training ground in 2015.   Place North West last year, but the value of the construction contract exceeds early estimates by around £100m.  “This is the largest value project that Bam has done in the UK.
