Lydiard House museum reopening tomorrow with new exhibition

Lydiard House Museum will reopen its doors to the public tomorrow. The Swindon Borough Council-owned and operated museum has achieved the UK recognised Good to Go certification operated by Visit England and developed in partnership with Tourism Northern Ireland, Visit Scotland and Visit Wales. The Grade II-listed building had a thorough clean before reopening and enhanced cleaning will take place every day. Council thanks Swindon for completing 2021 census ( but those who haven't could be fined £1,000)

SWINDON Borough Council thanked people in the town for responding to the census. Across England and Wales, 97 per cent of households completed the 2021 form, which is above the target of 94 per cent. For those in Swindon who haven’t yet completed the simple online form, it’s not too late. The online questionnaire will remain open until Monday, then only paper questionnaires will be available. Anyone who has lost the letter or has a second address which they have not visited can go to www.census.gov.uk to request an online completion code for the address via text message.
